Lesson 7: Pronouns (Second Form)
We learned the first form of pronouns in Lesson 2 (Personal Pronouns) and Lesson 4 (Demonstrative Pronouns). In this lesson we will learn the second form of these pronouns. The second form of the pronoun is used in many situations–direct and indirect objects, object of the preposition, izafe constructions (which we cover in Lesson 8), and others. For now, just concentrate on learning the forms below.
Before listing the forms, we need to mention that Kurmanji nouns and pronouns have gender. Grammatically speaking, nouns and pronouns are either masculine or feminine. Kurmanji does not have neuter gender. For more on grammatical gender, see this Wikipedia article.
